FAQ – Cruise to the Lofoten Islands
Our hikes are accessible to anyone who is used to walking regularly. The elevation changes are moderate (300 to 600m) and we adapt the pace to the group. The main thing is to be comfortable on sometimes wet or rocky paths.
The Arctic is changeable. In summer, temperatures range from 8°C to 18°C. Wind and rain can make an appearance, but this is also what creates those spectacular lights. A multi-layer technical outfit is essential.
Navigation in the Lofoten is mainly coastal and sheltered by the archipelago. The waters are generally calm. Our vessels are stable and the crew will be able to advise you if necessary.
With a maximum of 12 passengers, the atmosphere is friendly and informal. Meals are shared, and daily briefings allow everyone to express themselves. This is the strength of our concept: the intimacy of a floating base camp.
Yes, and this is the guarantee of a successful adventure. The captain adjusts the route each day according to the winds and the group's desires to prioritise comfort and the best observations.
Rediscover the sense of adventure and be ready to embark
